Thornbury Two-Piece

A private atelier dressing a global clientele — cut by hand in two hemispheres, stitched to a passport-accurate fit.
Bespoke tailoring between London and Dubai. Suits cut to a London weight; sherwanis and kurtas finished with Eastern embroidery traditions.
A restrained system: midnight charcoal as the spine, soft ivory as the canvas, champagne gold as the thread. Emerald and burgundy enter only in heritage collections, and only in measured doses.
Body copy, packaging, logotype, the spine of the brand.
Primary surface. Warmer than white; forgiving on print and screen.
Hairlines, foil, price labels, logotype. Never a fill — always a detail.
Secondary text, dividers, garment-tag paper.
Reserved for Eastern occasion-wear. A single garment. A single tag.
Reserved for evening. Pairs with gold; never with emerald.
Dressed by hand,
in two hemispheres.
A humanist sans with measured width — a clean foil to the literary serif.
Used for paragraphs, UI and forms. Light weights for lede copy; medium for action labels. Tabular figures for prices, ledger and measurements.

Eastern occasion-wear is finished in-house by embroiderers trained across three generations — zardozi, dabka, and fine resham work — on silk and brocade sourced from Benares and Multan.
Emerald and burgundy enter only where the garment calls for them — a majlis jacket, a wedding achkan, an evening tuxedo. One heritage colour per garment. Never both.
A deep jewel-tone reserved for daytime occasion-wear; always lined in ivory silk, always finished with champagne gold buttons.
A velvet dinner jacket for the evening — shawl lapels, satin facings, hand-stitched piping. Paired only with a black bow.
“Everything in the shop carries a number, a hand, and a city. Nothing carries a logo.”
